Free Online Diets – Do «Miraculous» Pills Really Exist?

Among the free online diets there are those recommending good diet practise, but the majority is promoting some miraculous pills and drinks that are hardly conducive to healthy and long term weight loss.

One of the main things one should be aware of when considering a diet that is too drastic is that the weight loss will always be followed by a weight gain. That is because they make the body experience a «starvation mode», when the body thinks it is starving and starts trying to preserve fat stores. As a result, one may lose weight, but may be frustrated that he/she is losing weight slower than they would like.

At the same time, the body recognizes that food is scarce. Once the food becomes more plentiful – meaning that the diet is over – the body stocks up as many calories as possible, and converts them to fat. Thus, online diets can be a good idea when they stick to the principles of diet and exercise.
